DELIVERY
Delivery times are calculated from the time payment is received and your order has been completed in our workshop :
-In stock items can be ready to dispatch in as little as 1-2 working days
-Items that need to be made for you can be ready in 4 – 14 working days
-Bespoke pieces will take approximately 3-6 weeks to craft (for more informations see our Bespoke section). When we provide you with a quote we will also confirm when your piece will be completed.

UK
We will send your order via First Class Royal Mail or Next Day Special Delivery depending on the value of the item.
First Class Royal Mail : estimated 1 to 2 days delivery time, no tracking number but needs to be signed for.
Next Day Special Delivery : Guaranteed next day delivery, tracking number, needs to be signed for.
INTERNATIONAL
We will send your order via Royal Mail International Signed and Tracked.
Estimated 4 to 10 days delivery, tracking number, needs to be signed for.
Other shipping options are available (DHL, Parcelforce, …), please contact us to enquire about times and rates.
The recipient will be responsible for any international custom duties or taxes that may be applied in the country of delivery, which are collected by the carrier at the time of delivery.
We will notify you when your item is dispatched and send you the tracking number of your parcel. Please note that we can not be held responsible for any parcels lost in transit.
RETURNS
Returns will be accepted at the discretion of Margaux Clavel and are subject to a quality assurance check. We will check the item when we receive it. Any items that show signs of wear, have been damaged, resized or altered by a third party will not be accepted for return and invalidate our return policy.
Please note that Archive Sale and Sample Sale purchase are final and returns won't be accepted for sale items.
EXCHANGES
We offer exchanges up to 14 days after the delivery date. Please email us at hello@margauxclavel.com with your order reference, your name, the reason of the exchange and the name of the item you would like to exchange it for.
We will get back to you with a return address you can send back the item to.
The item needs to be sent back in its original packaging and be in its original state. Please send the item back using a trackable postal service. We can assist you in arranging an insured shipping method. We do not take responsibility for the return shipping cost when an item is exchanged unless the original item was faulty.
Archive Sale and Sample sale items won't be exchanged.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR JEWELLERY?
Jewellery from Margaux Clavel will last many years if you look after it well. Although our jewellery is made from strong precious metals, it remains delicate and can still be affected by other metals, materials or chemicals you come in contact with on a day-to-day basis.
Please be conscious of what you are doing through the day and take your jewellery off if you think it might have a chance of getting damaged, like while exercising, gardening, showering, washing your hands, swimming, cooking, doing household tasks, …
GOLD PLATED PIECES
The gold plated sterling silver pieces are plated with 3 microns of 18 carat yellow gold. This surface treatment will fade over time because of contact with clothes, hard surfaces, sweat, perfume, hairspray, air pollution and others.
Everyday or frequent wear might speed up this process, especially on items like rings and bracelets which are more likely to get rubbed.
RE-PLATING
You can get your item re-plated. Get in touch to receive a quote for the service charge applicable.
STERLING SILVER PIECES
Sterling silver pieces might naturally tarnish and get oxidised, even if they are simply sitting in your jewellery box. You can clean them using a silver polishing cloth or any silver cleaning chemicals available on the market.
GENERAL ADVICES
Avoid direct contact with chemicals, perfumes or cosmetics, avoid to pull chains, store your jewellery in a safe place and try to gently wipe your pieces with a soft cloth after each wear to remove any marks of make up or oils (from your skin), also try to get them checked regularly especially if stones are set on your piece.

RINGS
Please try to provide us with the correct ring size when ordering your ring even if most of our rings can be resized.
The most accurate way to get your finger measured is probably to go to your local jeweller to get one of your rings or your finger measured. You can also refer to the ring size chart below to find out your ring size based on the inside diameter of your rings. However please note that this method is quite approximate.
If you are buying a gift the best way to establish a ring size is to get one of her/his rings, from the correct finger, and get it measured by your local jeweller or get an accurate measure of the inner diameter.
There are also a few things to consider when getting your finger measured :
Your finger size changes during the day. It usually is smaller when your hands are cold and can be up to half a size or even one size bigger when they are warm or the weather is really hot.
A wide band will always feel tighter than a thin one. When ordering a really wide band we recommend you to choose a full size larger than your normal ring size.
Your ring should be comfortable to wear. It should be tight enough not to fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.

BRACELETS
Our bracelets can be adjusted to fit your wrist. We usually give the inside diameter of our bangles. To make sure they will fit we recommend you to measure the width of your wrist with a soft measuring tape. If you think your bracelet needs to be made larger or smaller, please add a note at check out or email us.
NECKLACES
To make sure you will be happy with the length of your necklace you can cut a piece of string to the same length and try it around your neck. All our necklaces can be adjusted. If you want yours to be made longer or shorter, please add a note at checkout or email us.
